The Gardner School of Arts & Sciences
When a surprise swarm of honey bees arrived on campus, educators at The Gardner School welcomed them as an opportunity to generate more buzz in the classroom—and in the local media.
When kids cook with fresh ingredients, something magic happens—they discover a love of growing, preparing and eating healthy food. We’re proud to partner with King Arthur Flour to help kids cultivate curiosity for cooking and the desire to make a difference.
King Arthur Flour’s Bake for Good initiatives inspire people to bake and give to others. This free program teaches kids to bake bread from scratch; their second loaf goes to a local hunger relief organization, solidifying that link between baking wholesome food and sharing it with those in need.
Each day over 31 million children eat lunch at school. The healthier the food, the stronger a student’s chances for academic success, but so many schools lack the necessary tools to make healthy eating possible. We have nearly 1,000 schools waiting to get salad bars and gardens started in their communities. Will you help us give more kids the chance to eat healthy?
We know that when kids have the opportunity to explore nutritious eating, they dive in with enthusiasm. Together, we can give children the power to grow and enjoy healthy food.
This holiday season, give kids what they need to succeed. Give the gift of nutritious eating to the children who need it most.
