Our Healthy Staff Program encompasses our Healthy Teachers Program and our Healthy Food Service program, which are both online and free to take.
School food service workers with a greater understanding of their own personal nutrition can inspire and champion changes in the cafeteria to serve healthier and fresher meals for our students. This two- and half-hour course is broken up into easy digestible lessons that you can start and stop at any time and receive accredited continuing education hours too!
In this course you will cover:
Teachers with more knowledge about nutrition and healthy eating can not only lead happier, healthier lives–they can be stronger role models for our kids and be better advocates for school wellness policies.
This free two-hour nutrition and cooking class is designed to transform staff wellbeing through inspiration. It is a fun, interactive class that breaks down simple nutrition into digestible information that everyone can use.
This is not a diet program, but an open concept to basic nutrition that fits everyone!
These programs are available online at the Institute of Child Nutrition. They're free, and each take about 2 hours to complete. Learn from experts including chefs, doctors and dietitians, in lessons to follow at your own pace.
