Founded in 1995, the Center for Ecoliteracy engages with school communities to advance the experience and understanding of how nature sustains life and how to live accordingly. Our work is based on systems thinking, leadership dynamics, and how young people learn. We create and publish books and resources, facilitate professional development and conferences, and lead initiatives at local, regional, statewide, and national levels of scale.
